

Born on January 14th, 1992, in Hirono, Iwate, Japan.
Since childhood, he was exposed to various types of music such as fusion and smooth jazz, and played the cornet after joining the school brass band in 4th grade. He joined the concert band and played the trumpet in Hirono Town Taneichi Middle School, and then enrolled in Iwate Prefectural Kuji High School where he played the euphonium. He became interested in composing music during middle school. After graduating high school, he moved to Tokyo to learn music composition. Graduated from SHOBI College of Music, Composition Course of Academy of General Department of Music (4 year course) in March 2014. Studied composition under Yukio Kikuchi, Shinya Takahashi, and Hayato Hirose.
“Autumn Fantasy” a concert band composition, won best original score (1st) in “5th Japan Academic Society of Wind Music Composition Award” in 2013. “Beach at Dawn” also a concert band composition, was nominated for the finals in “7th Academic Society of Wind Music Composition Award” in 2015.His works have been chosen to play at the 3rd and 4th regular concert by the Oedo Symphonic Wind Orchestra. “fanfare for wind orchestra “In Triumph”” won a prize in “21st Century Wind Music 18th ‘KYO-EN'” “DaJa” won a prize in “21st Century Wind Music 20th ‘KYO-EN'” “overture for wind orchestra “Cheers !”” won a prize in “21st Century Wind Music 21st ‘KYO-EN'” “Water Heart” won a prize in “21st Century Wind Music 22nd ‘KYO-EN'” “Voyager Program -Beyond the Solar System-” won a prize in “21st Century Wind Music 25th ‘KYO-EN'” Won the 50th Japanese Band Directors Association “Shitaya Prize” in 2017. Won first prize in the “2024 Barbara Buehlman Prize for Composition Contest for Middle School Band” sponsored by the Midwest Clinic for concert band piece “Thawing”.
He has composed and arranged commissioned works for professional concert bands such as the Tokyo Wind Symphony Orchestra, Osakan Philharmonic Winds, Central Air Defense Force Band, WISH Wind Orchestra, and has composed commissioned works for school concert bands and the community concert bands throughout Japan.
He also serves as a judge for wind band competitions and ensemble contests, and writes for wind instrument-related magazines.
Since 2024, he has been the Permanent Conductor of the JR East Tokyo Wind Orchestra.
Also since 2024, he has been a lecturer at SHOBI College of Music.
